The centennial committee has begun meeting monthly to plan the 2027 centennial year. Early focus: confirming the steering committee roster, sketching the marquee event calendar, and beginning conversations with civic partners across the neighborhood. More to share soon.
We're collecting photos, family stories, and historical material from longtime residents and Sherman Oaks families. If you have something to contribute — temporarily, digitally, or in any other form you're comfortable with — we'd love to hear from you.
The first tier of centennial sponsorship is open. Local businesses, civic groups, and family foundations interested in underwriting a piece of the centennial year can review the tiers and submit interest on the sponsors page.
The Sherman Oaks 100 site is live as a preliminary build, intended to give the committee, civic partners, and the wider community something tangible to react to as plans firm up. The committee will be filling in placeholder content (events, sponsors, photos, dates) throughout 2026.
